How Success Killed Duke Nukem

Wired has a fascinating article taking a behind-the-scenes look at Duke Nukem Forever. This was one of the few games I was really looking forward to (many, many years ago) and it is unfortunate that they could never seem to get it done. There's a valuable lesson to be learned for all types of software development: deliver a product. Perfection is rarely achievable.
