I was looking for a Thunderbolt to Mini DisplayPort adapter for a new Mac that will be using a PC compatible monitor. Initially I wasn't finding any useful product matches until I did a little more digging.

It turns out that this Mini DisplayPort Cable will do the job for under $10 as Thunderbolt is a superset of Mini DisplayPort from a video standpoint.
